Nations of the world are rejecting God
It is easy for us to see today that the majority of nations are directly and deliberately rejecting anything to do with God. The kings of the earth in our age are repeating the same behaviors of those from the past in opposing God and bringing judgement to themselves. People of this world rejecting God is predicted in the Bible. As they disobey Him, they still claim to be following His Word.
Psalms 2: 2-5, “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.”
Within our own nation we see the courts trying to change the Lord’s definition of marriage calling it inclusion. We see them justify the murder of unborn children and call it a choice. We see them full of pride falsely believing this nation built and sustains itself.
Within the United States, there is growing hostility towards Christians. It is at a higher level than it has ever been within our nation’s history, and it grows more with each passing day. We have not reached the level of outright persecution which Christians in some nations see, but those things which were unimaginable a generation ago within our land are now happening.
Christian businesses are being directly targeted by various groups and the courts for refusing to participate in ceremonies that contradict clear Biblical principles of marriage. Within some states, churches are facing pressures to allow access to their facilities by so called transgender people with the churches facing lawsuits and fines if they refuse.
Our responsibility during these trying times is to remain faithful to the Lord. We must accept that persecution will come to us as well. In those persecutions the true believers will be separated from the hypocrites
The last thing we need to do is to remain silent on these issues simply because we know they will happen. We are to stand for the Lord in every situation. We are to be active within our communities both politically and spiritually. We are to stand against the evils within our community and at the same time point lost souls to the only hope of salvation, Jesus Christ.
Please take a moment to remember someone who is lost and remember our nation in prayer.
